Ääniportti biography
Ääniportti is a metal band from the countryside of cold northern Finland.Borned in 2002 the band still has three original members; Sami Vänttinen (guitar, vocals, composing, lyrics), Janne Mikkonen (drums) and Jukka Parantainen (guitar). Two other, Jani Ung (bass) and Mari Alasalmi (keyboard), have joined later.Ääniporttis music has many influences from Finnish rock music to Swedish death metal. No exact genre is available. Lyrics are often very melancholic, observations from life and after it. The band has just finished their seventh demo Manaaja with six songs, which will be released online.
