-1 World

Biography

-1 World is a groovy death metal band from Salo, Finland. Founded in early 2008.

-1 World started few years ago when Jasu and Ville joined in the humorous grindcore band called "Ismortal".
The band played together for about six months but it didn't work well with three members. So they decided to open a new band (-1 world) -ismortal still exists but it's more a just- for- fun project from Ville.

Then Jasu's friend Juuso (bass)  joined the band. In search for somebody who could play guitar they tried many things out and at least they found Antti and this combination worked well.
They jammed and had fun together. Ville Started writing songs and it began to get serious. Five songs were made and three was accepted to be recorded.

Right after studio they thought it would be necessary  to find a new drummer, so that Ville could concentrate on playing the lead guitar (he played all drums and guitarsolos at the studio). So they found a new drummer in Jesse, who played in Antti's old Band.

-1 world received lots of positive feedback about/for their simple (but brutal) old skool sound. They are going to re-record the songs in the (near) future because there were so many mistakes made due to hurry and there will be a few new songs too, a second guitar will be added so the songs sound much better.
