Biography
AIRHEAD is a band of four formed in 2003 at Tampere Finland. Members include Late on gtr/vocs, Harbo on bass/vocs, Riku on drums and Stobe on gtr. This self-supported metalband produced their first 5 song EP Universal in autumm
2006. This time consuming load of work paid off in form of 5 great sounding songs basically made with crappy equipment. This was possible 'cos Three of the band were in to sound recording, Harbo and Late had their own small Studios, Late also was studying sound recording at Virrat. Also Stobe was actually already done his school from the school of Arts and Media and even recorded couple of commercial albums for band called Supperheads.
Music in its various forms has effected and influenced all of Airheads members since the day one. Numerous projects with numerous people, tuning up gear and technique for the sound needed, artistic eye and clear vision of the whole picture and how things should be. All this could really mean something if we had four arms and there would be 72 hours i a single day.
The music is versatile and obviously influences are picked up from various musical genres. In short its a mix of lowtuned guitaring, distinctive rhythms uncommon to the genre and catchy melodies topped with sarcastic yet fun lyrics. This self-assured group would get bored by sticking to one type of music so they constantly need to evolve and develop their unique style, which today could be labeled as Groove Metal - hey ho....
Coming this far Airhead realized it needed co-operatives and assistance in future tasks therefore Artist Anonymous and Airforce was established. AA is an A/V media group formed by persons with various talents. AA's function along other projects is to produce Airhead and contribute to various issues like image and public presentation. Airforce is more like of a street-team, a group of enthusiastic hobbyists working for Airhead just to be involved.
Suprisingly still yet unsigned, Airhead looks for a label interested in mutual benefits of a contract. We possess a vision of a new born entertainer yet unknow to the world.
