Biography

It all started out when Domino De La Rogue had made up his mind to finally start a band that would be 100% focused on being a real band. It took a while before all the contacts was made to the guys he knew he would need to get out the songs that was spinning in his head. The outcome would later become Baton Rogue Morgue.
In 2005 it all begun. The first record containing six own songs and one cover - The Funeral- was released in that same year. Te line up would be Domino De La Rogue on drums, Lee Angel Morgue on vocals, Timothy Baton on Bass and Henga Strange on lead guitar.
With Domino on the drums they went to the studio the following year to record the second album -Drowning in Blood- , and the release party 1.12.2006 at Bar Mary in their hometown became the first live show for BRM. After that they played shows in southern Finland during 2006, but it wasn't until the third album Expect no Mercy came out in summer of 2007, when it really started to happen for the band.
There were changes in the line up before the recording sessions, when Antto joined the band to play drums. That meant that Domino would leave the drum set to move to the front of the stage to play guitar. Soon after the record was released BRM was in for the first recordings of the music video for the song Expect no mercy. It turned out killer and the band decided to release a DVD that contained the video and live footage. The DVD sold out almost immediately.
Baton Rouge Morgue was still hungry to make more as they realized that the band was going further all the time. In the summer of 2008 they recorded their latest album -Let the suckers bleed- .  The record has been played on every major radio station in Finland, and they've also made a video for the track -Finger on the trigger-.
