Bone5 biography
Bone5 was born in 2007, when Tony "Bone" Kaikkonen (vocals) and Heikki Viinikainen (guitar) decided to join forces and form a band. Soon they were joined by Olli "Mana" Männikkö (drums), Mikael "Kilu" Argillander (guitar) and Jack "Poku" Juutilainen (bass). Their roots are in North Savo, which is where all five members come from. Bone5 have been touring actively since the beginning. Their hard work was rewarded in the summer of 2008 when the band won the Henry's Pub Kuopio band competition. Biography
Bone5 was born in 2007, when Tony "Bone" Kaikkonen (vocals) and Heikki Viinikainen (guitar) decided to join forces and form a band. Soon they were joined by Olli "Mana" Männikkö (drums), Mikael "Kilu" Argillander (guitar) and Jack "Poku" Juutilainen (bass). Their roots are in North Savo, which is where all five members come from.
Bone5 have been touring actively since the beginning. Their hard work was rewarded in the summer of 2008 when the band won the Henry's Pub Kuopio band competition. The competition participants were elected from the 160 demos that had been sent by 16 bands, four of which reached the finals.The prize was performing on the main stage of the Kuopio Rockcock-festival. The band performed at festivals in the same year also with Katatonia and Cradle of Filth.
In January 2010, the band released their debut album "Dead City Tales", which has received airplay including on Radio Rock.
The band's drummer, Olli Männikkö, was replaced in 2011 by Pasi Pasanen, who is known for plaing in bands like Swallow the Sun, Sons of Aeon and Plutonium Orange.
