Chaotic was born at the beginning of spring 2007 in a moment of drunken stupor: a typical beginning for a finnish metal band. Petri and Jonne were the drunken ones, but unlike many projects that never got launched, this idea felt good the next morning.
The guys decided to give it a shot. Everything seemed to click, so the Petri and Jonne decided to get a line-up for this new act. The first one to step in was Timi, Jonne’s band mate from Sinister Will. Next in line was a bassist, and after a few months of searching, Teemu joined the band. Search for a singer was a bit trickier task, but after six months and a couple of candidates Jaakko was found. Now Chaotic was ready to rumble.
In the beginning of December ´07 Chaotic recorded its first demo, entitled “The End Of Progression”. The sessions took place in South-East Sounds, Karhula, under the watchful eye of Teemu Aalto.
Chaotic plays metal that respects traditions and in this case the traditions come from southern metal. Being a Finnish group, there comes a certain touch of coldness and melancholy with the mix. Add these two together and you’ve got Chaotic. Redneck metal from the icy shores of north.
