Finnish modern thrash/death influenced metal band DEAD SHAPE FIGURE have issued the following update: "Were very happy to announce that Dead Shape Figure has now completed the recording process of The Disease Of St. Vitus, finally! The mixing process has already begun and the mastering takes place early next month at Virtalähde Analog Audio Studios located in Helsinki, Finland. We dont have the exact album release date yet, but if everything goes as planned the album will be out in late April 2010. Now when the album has been recorded we are not taking a rest for sure... Biography

Death Confronting is a Lammi-based thrash metal squad that was formed around year 2006. The band's musicians are good friends who share the same interest in groovy and thrashy metal music.

After a two years of rehearsing and making songs the band was ready to hit the studio for their first demo recordings. At fall 2008 the demo was recorded in Juho Räihä's Soundspiral studio.

Death Confronting isn't about reinventing the wheel but performing good live music. The band has their own distinctive sound full of grooviness and heaviness.

Now, at the year 2009 the band is running stronger than ever with lots of new songs and the will to go through stone on demand.
