Finnish metal band DIVERCIA was established in the late 1990's. First recording deal was signed in 1999 and as a result the first EP "Planeteer"? was released. By that time the pre-production of the first full-length album had already began and the band received an offer from a bigger record company. The new contract was signed in 2000 and the debut album "Modus Operandi" was released in 2002. It was a full house of rage and power, opening possibilities to play on several venues and festivals.
Six-headed power plant lashes their message through with the force of Jyri Aarniva´s both harsh and clean vocals, tearing guitar riffs from Jarno Laakso and Sami Inkiläinen, menacing landscape of sounds from the keyboardist Jarno Hänninen, topped with precise beats of Teemu Laitinen and ground shaking lows by Jukka Hoffrén. Furious beats are in good use within selected songs and relation to Scandinavian death metal is obvious.
