Biography
Misery Inc. was founded in 2001 by Janne Tolonen, Joonas Kauppinen and the former bass player Jukka Keisala who left the group in 2005. Teemu Ylämäki joined the band before the first album Yesterday's Grave. The debut was released in 2003 through Zyx music and back then they called the singer Jukkis Huuhtanen. After YG Misery Inc. made some so called arrangements. Two new singers were recruited. Jules Näveri and Niko Mankinen formed the dynamic duo on Random End (Firebox 2006) and the bass was handed to Aki Heikinheimo.
During the spring 2007 Misery Inc. found themselves in a situation where Jules had to leave the band due to lack of time. A new recording deal with a famous and highly respected finnish label Johannakustannus was signed and a new guy had to be found. Tommi Niemi had the right sound for MInc. and the third album BreedGreedBreed was introduced to the world fall 2007. However everything didn' t seem right and Tommi left the band few weeks after the album was released. Misery Inc. has sailed through stormy waters before and will get through this as well. Interesting times we are living.
