Biography
Reflective was a metal band from Joensuu, Finland, which was formed in 2001. In the fall of 2003 vocalist Antti Argillander joined the band, after which Reflective started working seriously. Shortly after this the band released its first demo "Erasing Memory", which was sold out quickly. Reflective played a lot of gigs in the next few years, including a show at the Nordsession indoor festival in Russia - which was to remain as their biggest gig.
The members’ visits in the Finnish Defence Forces caused unfortunate pauses in Reflective’s practising. Along with artistic disagreements these pauses forced the band to call it quits. However, Reflective decided to record a second (and final) demo, because the songs had already been composed for some time.
Lack of motivation, Sallinen’s studies and a lot of other obstacles slowed down the recording process, but in the fall of 2006 the "Ghost Logic" was finally finished. All the tracks were released in the internet, and are still available for download with good quality (320kbps Mp3) at www.reflective.cjb.net. You can also download a print-size cover from the same location.
The members are still working with music. More information can be found at www.reflective.cjb.net. Reflective has decided to call it quits. It has been practically impossible to maintain motivation for the band for the last few years: for example the members' visits in the Finnish Defence Forces have caused unfortunate pauses in our practising. There have also been some disagreements within the band in how Reflective's music should sound like. So nothing dramatic, folks... This just seemed like a good time to move along.
