Biography

Renoise coming from Tampere, the mecca of diamond-hard rock bands, Renoise is a new hot name in the Finnish music scene. The band was formed in 2002, but after several changes it found its members in the end of 2005.

Renoise started to play live shows in March 2006 with 6 members. In April of the same year, they released their first mini-album called "Vanity". There was a bit over 600 copies made, which were sold out in an very short notice. Therefore, another set of albums were made. Remaining copies of the "Vanity" album were sold out in January 2008. The song „Vanity“ was recently re-recorded and has a new edge to it.

In January 2007 Renoise released their second mini-album named "You". The first set of albums was sold out on its release gig, so another bunch of albums were required.

Renoise went through new changes in September 2007, when their guitarist Tero left the band due to personal reasons. Now working as a 5 man crew, the band turned into a more intensive group and made an huge leap towards better.

In January 2008 the band released their first single „Away from me“, which instantly went to Top-5 of the official Finnish Single Charts. Renoise was interviewed in the Finnish TV-show called "subbari", where their newest music video to "Away from me" got its premiere. (Available at video.google.com; Keywords: Away from me, Renoise).

Renoise has gathered a lot of fans, and made their name known in Finland for about 2 years now. Fans even gathered a petition to see the band more live. This day, over 900 people have signed it. (You can check it out at www.adressit.com/renoise, its in Finnish though.)

Renoise has also made foreign countries and fans interested in them in such way, that they will head for 3 massive tours around Europe this year. The first one of these – TREvolution 2008 – was just successfully finnished – playing 7 gigs in Germany, Czech Republic and France.
