Biography

Supreme Court was founded in the fall of 1999 by drummer Olli and singer / guitarist Jussi. In a few months a bassist and an additional guitarist were added to the band. These guys went by the names Jedi and Cane. After a few years, two EP's, lots of shows and two line-up changes Supreme Court finally came together with it's best possible line- up when Tuomas joined the band in 2003 to share lead guitar duties with Jussi. Bassist extraordinaire Tino had joined SC earlier in 2001.

In August 2003 Supreme Court headed into studio to record a follow-up for 2000's Heavy Air demo and 2001's Drown EP. The new hard rocking four-song EP got titled Reason Kill. Reason Kill scored some good reviews and a bunch of new friends for Supreme Court. Both Drown EP and Reason Kill have since been sold out excluding a few stray copies here and there.

In early 2005 SC marched into studio again to record The Unfair Warning MCD, a half length album to be published in co-operation with Satan Claus Records. TUW featured a mixed combination of SC's styles from mellow druggy "Carry Me Now" via high- energy rocker "The Infinite Human Stupidity" to raw and metallic "Viper On My Palm" and everything in between.

Now in 2006 Supreme Court released a new promo recording for share on the Internet. So far their newest effort, simply titled Promo 06, has got loads of positive feedback from the people. What the future holds in store for Supreme Court still remains to be seen, but it will surely include many great shows, new releases, new fans and many many insanely fun drunken nights.

The Supreme Court headquarters, the Supreme Courtroom, The Root Of All That's Evil, The Grim Reaperbahn...(err, you get the point), is located somewhere under the frozen soil of Espoo, Finland. Supreme Court stands firmly behind the values of old school metal and groove-oriented very hard rock delivered blisteringly live. And that is a fact that is not going to change.
