The streets of Helsinki city. An open beach by the sea. Sweaty steamroom. Rock-club at the train station. The Grand Canyon. These are some of the sceneries where you could imagine The Cloudycators as a soundtrack.
When we are talking about a band that is reaching out for the working class heroes, we're not looking for pretty boys. The Cloudycators is a band of hard drinking, honestly butt ugly men from Tampere. Live on the stage, this loud band feels like a freight train ramming through your veins with such intensity, that it leaves nobody cold nor sober. Even though the members of the band are in their 30s and share colorful history in music scene, The Cloudycators
was formed in the year 2010. Other groups of the band members vary in many ways, but here is a few mentionable: Bloodpit, Malegria, Vanguard, 2 Times Terror, Hyhmä and Jalava. The music of The Cloudycators combines influences from finnish melancholy and deep soulscapes with legacies of trash- and heavy metal. When the result is compressed with thick american stadium sound, it could be compared to a wine that has been riped with care and in serenity and where all the flavors meet each other. As a result you'll taste the strong but well-mixed, balanced and long lingering beverage. And to those who are not interested in wines, it means tunes that'll rock the hell out of you.
The Cloudycators are driven with immense and ever burning fire to make good music. The Cloudycators 10 years after might end a world tour with a compilation album, or chec into the Betty Ford Clinic, or just letting it hang out at home couch. But the trip from this day to that future day will be all worth it.
Specially if their bass player happens to get it up and on with Jessica Alba...
With a starting gun towards the unknown, The Cloudycators is releasing their first single "Animal", under the label of Osasto-A Records. "Animal" was also tranlated to a festive music video, which will be released with the single.
A full-length album is coming out at the end of the year.
