Biography

The whole story began in 2002 when Anthon and Jony got to know each other. At that time they met almost every day in some kind of situation and after a few conversations Anthon decided to play some of his own music to Joni. He gave him a demo cd containing six tracks and after a few times of listening through those tracks, Jony get in contact with Anthon. An idea about founding a band got started.

Next step was to get some other players to make this formed idea come true. But it aint always easy to get four guys with the same thoughts together. After a very dark moments and many candidates appeared vocalist called Zacky Night. His numerous older projects were falled down and something got to happen. Zacky had heard about the band and about the problem finding a suitable vocalist. He get in contact with the band and the first reharsals were added to calendar. The band named White Flame Industry finally got a lead singer.

About the bass player He was totally lost in Tampere city with his car and showed also many other characteristic marks of a bass player. He owned a bass and after the bands first, short-time bassist had to move into other tasks and away from the band, stepped this new kid named Sammye to fill this empty void.

At some point heading for the first demo the band decided to drop Industry from their name, and changing to simply White Flame. At the end of 2004 White Flame released their first demo cd called Reaching the Sky. The disc contained four tracks: Flash of Memories, Charmed, Rebel One and Black Tears of Pain.

Soon after the first release band hit the studio again. The original plan was to record a 2-song-ep and hand them out for free. During the recording the band decided to record three more songs and so they released The World We Live In containing tracks: The World We Live In, Broken Wings, Gorgeous Girl, Everytime and an acoustic version of Black Tears Of Pain. With this 2nd ep band started to tour all over Finland. WF worked trough over twenty shows in 2005.

In September the band released the internet-single Romeo & Juliet. During 2005 WF tried to promote their music with their 2nd ep and especially with the net-single R&J. The band kept doing shows all the way to late June 2006, and more and more fans found the Sound of the Flame.

But Zackys vision of where he wanted to take his music was drifting further and further from that of the rest of the band. Chemistry was cracking up rapidly. There were more and more argues and disagreements. Finally they reached the point that Zacky decided to leave the band. This meant a new opportunity to rest of the band to make something more aggressive, ass-kicking and all-a-round harder rock music.

Luckily Anthons old friend Vince showed up with his unique sound and style of performing. Anthon and Vince hooked up, and after about ten minutes of jamming in a nearby park they clicked. They hadnt seen each other since 2002 but the case was pretty clear: this could turn into something special! They did a couple hour jam and went to record some demo songs To Anthons place. And things started to roll instantly.

A new singer, new songs, a new attitude in their bag of tricks, and the band is ready to take on the world. So hold on to your panties momma, cause this gangs about to bang!
