Zarthas

Biography

Originally Zarthas was founded in the mid 90's in Haukipudas. They started rocking, got a bit heavier as the years went by with musicians coming and going. Until year 2003 Zarthas had made several demos, and taken part in two different compilation-CD's

That was when they split up.

It took five years of silence, and figuring out something new. Something more electric, more keyboard based, yet ass-kicking and melodic. It was year 2008 when Lauri, Sanni, and new bass player Pekka started the band again. After few months of musicians coming and going again, Toni came to play the beat. That was it. 2009 was the year of rehearsing, and the year 2010 was dedicaded to working in studio. Slowly they gave birth to their debut album titled " So Mote It Be", which was released in 2011. The album was followed with two music videos, and several live performances.
