KORPIKLAANI: Japanese Tour Dates Announced

Finnish folk metallers KORPIKLAANI will embark on their first-ever tour of Japan in September. Confirmed dates are as follows:

Sep. 12 - Club Quattro - Tokyo, Japan
Sep. 13 - Club Quattro - Nagoya, Japan
Sep. 14 - Shinsaibashi Club Quattro - Osaka, Japan

KORPIKLAANI's video for the song "Tervaskanto" has been posted online at this location (Windows Media). The track is the title cut of the Finnish folk metallers' fourth album, due on June 26 (U.S.) / June 29 (Europe) via Napalm Records.

"Tervaskanto" (view cover artwork at this location) was recorded at Fantom Studios in Tampere, Finland with producer Samu Oittinen. 11 songs were recorded for the follow-up to "Tales along this Road". The track listing for the effort is as follows:

Formed by Jonne Järvelä (vocals, guitar), KORPIKLAANI ("Woodland Clan" in Finnish) released two albums under its previous moniker, SHAMAN. In contrast to SHAMAN, which recorded songs in the original Sami language, KORPIKLAANI's material is writen mostly in English, but also in Finnish.
