NIGHTWISH: More Quality Footage From New York City Concert Posted Online

Quality fan-filmed video footage of NIGHTWISH's October 18, 2007 concert at the Nokia Theatre in New York City can be viewed below (courtesy of "godzillo").

John Two-Hawks, a Native American hailing from Arkansas, performed the song "Creek Mary's Blood" with NIGHTWISH at the Finnish/Swedish symphonic metal band's November 11, 2007 concert at The Palladium Ballroom in Dallas, Texas and at the November 10 show at The White Rabbit in San Antonio, Texas.

John Two-Hawks is a multi-instrumentalist who is devoted to spreading the culture and mentality of Native Americans. He has published six solo albums, and although he is constantly touring the U.S., Two-Hawks is very rarely seen on European soil.

The song "Creek Mary's Blood", which was composed by NIGHTWISH keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen, was included on NIGHTWISH's platinum-selling (in Finland) "Once" album. On "Creek Mary's Blood" John Two-Hawks plays the flute and reads a poem translated to his native language.

NIGHTWISH was honored in the "Best-Selling Artist - Scandinavia" category at the World Music Awards on November 4 in Monte Carlo.

The World Music Awards (founded in 1989) is an international awards show that annually honors recording artists based on their worldwide sales figures, which are provided by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).

NIGHTWISH's new album, "Dark Passion Play", was recently certified gold in Sweden for sales in excess of 30,000 copies. The CD, which has already achieved triple-platinum status in Finland after selling more than 90,000 copies, has shifted 29,000 units in the United States since its October 2, 2007 release.
