AMORPHIS, THE CLAYMORE Confirmed For Germany's ROCK HARD FESTIVAL

AMORPHIS and THE CLAYMORE have been confirmed for next year's Rock Hard Festival, set to take place May 9-11, 2008 at the Gelsenkirchen Amphitheatre in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

AMORPHIS' new album, "Silent Waters", entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 44. Released in North America on September 18, the CD is the second AMORPHIS album to feature singer Tomi Joutsen (SINISTHRA). It was recorded at Sonic Pump studios in Helsinki, Finland. Mixing duties were handled by Mikko Karmila (NIGHTWISH, STRATOVARIUS) at Finnvox studios.
