  1. and ...? It is SO great she is her own boss - but who cares? We are all our own bosses, nobody has been enslaving her, actually. Or am I just wrong and she was a slave in Nightwish?
Is not THE time now, after two years of being kicked out, to DO and finally to ACHIEVE something, instead of talking about being her own boss and her freedom???
Or is she going to spend rest of her life talking about being free? THAT will really be SO INTERESTING.
I doubt that two years after WW2 did people still waste so much time talking about their freedom, honestly. After all, they had different problems.

  3. I had really high hopes for my winter storm, but she really disappointed me with that. In fact with all the songs she had come up with in her solo carreer. So I'm not sure if I'm going to buy her new album.

  4. I agree with Sorcha. My Winter Storm was dire especially the decision to cover Alice Cooper's Poison - it was literally poison for the ears.

I also felt she was trying to be Nightwish all on her own and it just didn't work.

Come on Tarja you are a great classical singer so show us your strength. The fans of you while you were in Nightwish are more likely to remain fans if you stick at what your good at rather than trying to imitate what you had whilst in Nightwish in the false hope that you can replicate the success of a band all by yourself.

  5. I think her new single "enough" is better than any songs from the MWS-album, and thats probably because Tarja write her own lyrics now, incl. that song, so I believe that her new album is gonna be greater than MWS, because it's gonna be more personal..

but I disagree with you Toni, I don't think Tarja was trying to be NW all on her own, but that the album was suppose to be a slow-type of album.. I bumped into Tarja last year in Europe before a concert and she have grown so much since NW, and I think that this album is her way to experience music on her own, since she is her own boss now..

  6. I am still a fan of Tarja - and still a fan of Nightwish. I just think Tarja's strength is her classical voice and I feel she should stick to that rather than trying to do her own symphonic metal.

  7. The strength of Tarja is that she can do everything, ahaha !!!

  8. I'm really looking forward to her album. I liked My Winter Storm a lot and I didn't think she tried to be Nightwish on her own at all. It was different, and not perfect, but still very good.
