RAIN DIARY: Changes in the line-up

RAIN DIARY has issued the following update:

"Greetings Everyone!

It's been a while since we posted the last blog and a lot has happened since! I'll try to keep things brief and simple and only post you the most important things...

First and foremost there has been a change in the band's line-up: our old bass-player Samuli Kovaniemi has left the band during our studio sessions and Pekka Vanajas (Dawn Delayed) has taken over his spot. There was no drama involved, just different kind on ideas about how our music should sound and evolve in future. We are truly blessed to say that Pekka has already brought great and inspiring wibes to our music: beside the great talent as a bass player, Pekka is also highly gifted in creating ethereal soundscapes and he has brought peculiar extra-spices into our song writing process! (Pekka’s picture will be added here during the following days…)
 
Secondly we are happy to say that our studio sessions ended up being extremely succesful and we managed to surpass even our biggest hopes! Unfortunately we cannot add the songs to our player because they exist only in their raw mix format and we do feel that it would not do the justice for the songs to publish them before the final mix + professional mastering: only the best quality of sound is good enough that we dare to release the songs to our audience’s demanding ears ! We want to thank our producer Jaani Peuhu for his outstanding job: he is a true and rare talent! Thank you Jaani! <3
 
At the moment we are recording demos for our forthcoming debut album so that we can start our pre-procuction with Mr. Peuhu: if everything goes as we positively hope, then the end of the year will be really interesting and oh… It will rain.
