AMBERIAN DAWN Singer Collaborating With Corset Boutique

Corset boutique Belle Modeste and singer Heidi Parviainen from the Finnish symphonic metal band AMBERIAN DAWN have joined forces and started a collaboration on a series of costumes that will be designed and manufactured exclusively for Heidi's stage appearances. The first costume is based on two of the classical elements — air and water — and it was finished in time for the show at On The Rocks in Helsinki, Finland on September 2.

AMBERIAN DAWN has been confirmed as the "main" support act for EPICA's upcoming European tour. Also scheduled to appear is SONS OF SEASONS, the new progressive/symphonic metal band led by keyboardist/guitarist Oliver Palotai (KAMELOT, DORO).

AMBERIAN DAWN's second album, "The Clouds of Northland Thunder" was released in Europe on June 29 via Ascendance Records.

AMBERIAN DAWN guitarist Tuomas Seppälä, who has played the keyboards in the studio on the band's albums, recently became the group's full-time keyboardist. The new AMBERIAN DAWN axeman is Emil Pohjalainen, who is described as "a talented 24-year-old shredder from Finland."

Hmm, Amberian Dawn are almost a bigger incentive to me now to go to Epica concerts than Epica themselves are :-p

Clothing s*it isn't metal news, it's pure commercial advertising. Does any proper metal band do things like this?? Can you imagine Alexi Laiho or Ville Laihiala advertising THEIR CLOTHES? IMO, this is completely ridiculous "news". But some people think any publicity is good publicity.

But of course I understand she needs to lose weight.

I haven't defended this kind of "news" at all, all I've done is explaining that corsets aren't only female clothing, and come to think of it, whether they are for women or men doesn't matter anyway. Face it, this kind of "news" has become acceptable on MFF lately, because a more notorious band/singer has done it too and they're always right and full of originality, while every other female-fronted band only copies their amazing ideas, lol.
