CHILDREN OF BODOM's Trashed, Lost & Strungout EP from 2004 is now available for the first time digitally on Shockhound.com. Click here for details and to download.

The tracklist is as follows:

'Trashed, Lost & Strungout'
'Knuckleduster'
'Bed Of Nails' (ALICE COOPER cover)
'She Is Beautiful' (ANDREW W.K. cover)

BW&BK scribe Carl Begai recently caught up with CHILDREN OF BODOM keyboardist Janne Wirman to discuss the band's plans for their next album and his new WARMEN record, Japanese Hospitality. An excerpt from the story appears below:

Alexi Laiho makes his presence known once again, having made his Warmen debut on Accept The Fact with a cover of the ‘80s pop hit ‘Somebody’s Watching Me. This time out he sings on one track – the COB flavoured ‘High Heels On Cobblestone’ – and wrote a song at Janne’s request which he doesn’t appear on.

“Alexi wrote the whole song ‘Don’t Bring Her Here’ for Jonna (Kosonen),” reveals Janne. “Me and Alexi, when we get drunk we like to listen to Lambretta and Pink, and one day I asked Alexi if I could order a Lambretta-type of party song for Jonna (laughs). He came up with ‘Don’t Bring Her Here’ and I think it’s pretty fucking cool. It was never meant to be a Bodom song, though; it was custom made for Jonna and Warmen.”

As previously reported, Children Of Bodom frontman Alexi Laiho is featured in a new interview with Robert Gray at Ultimate-Guitar.com as part of a series entitled Hit The Lights. An excerpt appears below:

Ultimate-Guitar.com: First of all, why has Children Of Bodom opted to release covers compilation 'Skeletons In The Closet'?

Alexi Laiho: "We've recorded a shitload of covers within the last ten years, and a lot of people have approached us, asking "Where can I find this?" or "Where I can I find that?". It's hard to find some of our covers. Also, a lot of people just approached us, suggesting "Why don't you put all of your covers on the same CD?". Since we'll finish touring next November, and will be writing music, we wanted to release something. We thought, 'Why not do that whole covers album thing?'"

  1. I don't listen to Bodom too much anymore, but I do remember loving that EP, especially 'Knuckleduster'. For four bucks there's no reason not to download it people!
