SOTAJUMALA To Enter Studio In January

Finnish metal band SOTAJUMALA has issued the following update:

"On Monday, January 11, 2010, we'll enter Studio Audio in Jyväskylä to start recording our third album! In the following four weeks we'll be working long days at both Studio Audio and Basement Alliance with Tuomas Kokko to finish the album. Mastering will be handled by Svante Forsbäck at Chartmakers in Helsinki on February 8.

"We're shooting for late spring release in Finland and hopefully a proper plan for other territories too.

"The name of the album hasn't been decided yet, but who knows what happens during the next couple of weeks."

SOTAJUMALA's "Oikeutus" video can be viewed below. The clip was shot in April 2008 in Vaasa, Finland. The song comes off the group's second album, "Teloitus" (Finnish for "execution"), which entered the Finnish chart in October 2007 at position No. 17.

"Teloitus" was recorded in Vaasa with producer Hannu Koivisto.

SOTAJUMALA's full-length debut, "Death Metal Finland", was released in 2004 via Woodcut Records.
