Biography
Hobbies: Reading, Movies but, mostly my hobbies are music related stuff. Collecting music memorabilia, etc.
Musical background: Started playing the guitar at age 10, after discovering Kiss on TV. Formed first hard rock band Angel Heart at age 16, wrote and recorded the band's first album at 19 years of age. Joined Brazilian underground legends Overdose in 1997, playing with Sepultura's original guitar player Jairo Guedz. Moved to the USA in 2001 and joined rock band Monkey Bite. Next step was fronting the band Astra, who released a self-titled debut CD in 2004. Spent 4 years fronting French metal band Adagio, with whom Gus has played all over the world, sharing the stage with legends such as Robert Plant. Gus and Adagio have split in April 2008 and two days after, Gus heard from Timo Tolkki, who was interested in having him front Revolution Renaissance. The rest is history in the making :-)
