Biography
Oliver Holzwarth is a German bass guitarist. He was born in Munich, Germany. His brother, Alex Holzwarth, is the drummer of Rhapsody of Fire. Oliver has been the live/studio bass player for Blind Guardian since 1998. He also sings backing vocals live.
Among other projects, Oliver currently plays bass for power metal band Power Quest. He also was the bass player of the rock band Sieges Even. In March 2009 it was announced that he will tour with Tarja Turunen on her "Storm Returns to the Americas" Tour.
