Biography
Conny Bloom (born as Conquistador Juventus junior Blomqvist on November 22, 1969 in Stockholm) is a Swedish guitarist and songwriter of the Finnish rock band Hanoi Rocks. He became acquainted with Hanoi Rocks in Stockholm in the early 1980s, and joined their ranks in late 2004.
Although starting out on the Scandinavian scene with bands like Roadrats, Rolene and Electric Boys, Bloom has created a great body of work on his own. The man who was already the local guitar hero at 14 is a well-respected character who, especially with Electric Boys and later Silver Ginger 5, achieved international rock-star status. After joining Hanoi Rocks, however, Bloom has put his other projects in hold. He is also known in the UK for staring in an advert for Jamesons Whisky.
